ALS is a disease could cost a lot to stop the ache of the body and normal people can't afford to cure the disease. So, the ALS association tried an creative way to promote the donation and to tell the world about ALS. 

 The full ALS defination is Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. 

 I feel sorry for the people who get this scary disease which could be solve easily and will getting worst rapidly and unconsciously. ALS used an event as THE ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE to make the world recognize them. To do the ice bucket challenge is just pouring ice water from the head and get cold.
